The Oregon Coast Learning Institute (OCLI) will kick off its 14th year of educational presentations at Salishan at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 5, with Astronomer Sifan Kahale sharing her scientific and personal observations of the eclipse. Her presentation titled "Post-Eclipse Report and Observatory Tour" promises to be a fun and interactive virtual tour of the PanSTARRS facilities and findings. Kahale is a busy OCLI member and is only semi-retired from work as a staff astronomer at the PanSTARRS Observatory atop the 10,000 foot high mountain on Maui, Hawaii. [Read More]
